ECG and Rhythm Holter Monitoring

ECG and Rhythm Holter Monitoring

Continuous monitoring of heart and blood pressure

The Holter is a portable device that records blood pressure or heart rhythm over 24 to 48 hours. It allows observation of your heart’s real functioning during daily activities, rest, and sleep.

What each type measures

  • Blood Pressure Holter: monitors blood pressure, detects hidden hypertension, and evaluates treatment effectiveness.
  • ECG Holter: records heart rhythm to detect abnormalities that may not appear during a standard exam.

How the exam is performed

The patient wears the device and either a cuff or electrodes, depending on the type of Holter. Normal daily activities are continued. After the recording period, the cardiologist analyzes the data to adjust treatment or recommend further tests.

Benefits

  • Non-invasive and painless.
  • Provides accurate monitoring in real-life conditions.
  • Detects disorders missed by standard ECGs.

Our approach

At Professor Badidi My El Mehdi’s Office, Holter installation is done carefully, with clear instructions for reliable recording. The results are interpreted in detail to propose suitable follow-up and therapeutic adjustments tailored to each patient’s condition.
