  1. Do I need a referral to book an appointment with a cardiologist?
    In most cases, a referral is recommended, but not always required. Please check with our clinic or your insurance provider for specific requirements.
  2. How long does a cardiology appointment usually take?
    A standard consultation lasts about 20 to 30 minutes. If additional tests are needed (ECG, echocardiogram, stress test), the visit may take longer.
  3. What symptoms indicate that I should see a cardiologist?
    You should consult a cardiologist if you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness, swelling in the legs, or if you have a family history of heart disease.
  4. What tests might be performed during my visit?
    Depending on your condition, the doctor may request an ECG, echocardiogram, Holter monitor, stress test, or blood tests.
  5. Can I eat or drink before my exam?
    For most tests, eating and drinking normally is fine. However, for stress tests, you may be asked to avoid eating heavy meals or caffeine before the exam. Our team will give you specific instructions.
  6. Will my insurance cover the consultation?
    Coverage depends on your insurance plan. Please bring your insurance card and confirm with your provider if necessary.
  7. How soon will I receive my test results?
    Some results, such as ECGs, are available immediately. Others, like Holter monitoring or detailed echocardiography reports, may take 24–72 hours.
  8. Can I drive after my exam?
    Yes, for most tests. However, after certain stress tests, you may be advised to rest for a short time before driving.
  9. What should I bring to my appointment?
    Please bring your ID, insurance card, medical records, list of medications, and any recent test results.
  10. How can I schedule or reschedule an appointment?
    You can contact our clinic by phone, through our website, or via the online appointment system. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule.
